Class Scheduling & Attendance Policy

To ensure smooth scheduling and provide the best learning experience for all students, we kindly ask families to review and follow the following guidelines regarding class attendance and schedule changes.

  1. Regular Attendance

Students are expected to attend their scheduled classes on time. Regular attendance helps maintain learning consistency and allows teachers to plan lessons effectively.

Students are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled classes. If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late, the class will be considered an absence and cannot be rescheduled or credited.

  1. Materials & Homework Preparation

Students are expected to finished homework and bring all required learning materials, textbooks, and assigned homework to each class as instructed by the teacher. Being prepared helps ensure that class time is used effectively and allows teachers to provide the best support for each student’s learning progress. If required materials or homework are not brought to class, the effectiveness of the lesson may be affected.

  1. Advance Notice for Schedule Changes

If a student needs to miss or reschedule a class for non-emergency reasons, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. When sufficient notice is given, we will do our best to arrange a make-up class based on availability.

  1. Last-Minute Absence

If a student cancels a class less than 24 hours before the scheduled time for non-emergency reasons, the class cannot be rescheduled or credited.

For students enrolled in the afterschool program, if the student does not attend school on that day, parents are kindly requested to notify the center in advance. As teachers are scheduled to go to the school to pick up students, failure to inform us beforehand may affect the pickup arrangements. Advance notice allows us to adjust the teacher’s schedule in a timely manner.

  1. No-Show Policy

If a student does not attend a class without prior notice, the class will be considered completed and cannot be rescheduled.

  1. Special Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations may occur, such as illness or family emergencies. In such cases, students may request to reschedule the class, and we will try our best to accommodate the request.

However, please note that frequent last-minute cancellations cannot be accommodated, even in special situations.

  1. Communication with the Center

We strongly encourage parents to inform the center in advance whenever possible, especially if the student may have scheduling conflicts due to school events, extracurricular activities, or travel plans.

Open communication helps us plan effectively and support each student’s learning progress.

  1. Mutual Understanding

Our goal is to create a supportive and organized learning environment for all students. We greatly appreciate parents’ understanding and cooperation in following these policies so that we can provide consistent and high-quality instruction.

Thank you for your support and partnership.

  1. Policy Acknowledgement

Enrollment in our programs indicates that families understand and agree to follow the center’s scheduling and attendance policies.
